Address food insecurity firsthand by helping in The Foodbank Drive-Thru! Volunteers will help Foodbank staff unload food from pallets, sort and bag produce, and pass out food to clients. Please arrive between 8:30am and 8:45am for a prompt 9:00am start time for the drive-thru. Park in the main parking lot and come through the glass front door. Please sign in at the front desk. Once all volunteers have arrived, we will have a quick orientation, and assign you to a station in the drive-thru. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes and masks are optional. Dress for the weather; the drive-thru area is covered but it is open air. Please note, there is no food or drink allowed in our warehouse, including water bottles. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and any volunteer under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteers will help to distribute food and carry food to client vehicles. These are off-site locations and typically outdoors. Volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes and masks are optional. Please check-in with The Foodbank staff when you arrive. AGE RESTRICTIONS PLEASE NOTE: There are some age restrictions when it comes to the mobile pantries. At drive-thru style mobile pantries, only those who are 14 and older may attend and those who are 14-15 must be accompanied by an adult. At walk-up style mobile pantries, those who are 10 and older may attend and those who are 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult. Please pay attention to the description of the mobile pantry and whether it is a drive-thru or walk-up style.

Get your hands dirty helping out in the Foodbank Urban Garden! Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks including, planting, landscaping, cleaning, mulching, harvesting, plant care, and much more. If possible, please bring your favorite gardening gloves and reusable water bottle. Volunteers can come check in at the front desk in The Foodbank, tour the facility, and then we'll head out to the garden! Any volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Fight hunger in the Miami Valley by volunteering in the Foodbank warehouse! Tasks include but are not limited to packing assorted program boxes, sorting food donations, facility maintenance, and more. Please park in the main lot and enter through the front glass door. If there are not enough spaces in the lot, we also have a parking lot behind the building, and you can come in through the back door in the volunteer building. Please make sure to sign in. Once all volunteers have arrived we will have a quick orientation. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes and masks are optional. Please note there is no outside food or drink allowed in the warehouse, including water bottles. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and any volunteer under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
